Please be advised that Microsoft randomly requires customers to activate office by telephone and consequently, you may receive a message stating you have reached the maximum number of activations and you cannot activate over the internet. In this case, please follow the instructions below to activate your office by telephone:
- When the message "maximum number of activations reached" pops up, please click on "back" and choose "telephone activation" instead of activation over the internet.
- After you have selected telephone activation you will be asked to call the toll free Microsoft number and to complete 3 simple steps.
For Windows 7 or older Windows
- Download and install the free tool Virual CloneDrive on http://download.cnet.com/Virtual-CloneDrive/3000-20432_4-173879.html .
- Go to "my computer", where you will find a new virtual DVD drive. Right click on your new Virtual DVD drive and select "Virtual Clone Drive" and then "Mount" and select the downloaded ISO file to open the DVD.
- Run setup.exe to start the installation.
For Windows 8 or Windows 10
- open the downloaded ISO file.
- Run setup.exe to start the installation.
Please download the .iso file until it is complete.
An ISO file, also called a disc image, is a single file that’s a copy of an entire data CD or DVD. When you burn a CD or DVD from an ISO file, the new disc has the same folders, files, and properties as the original disc.
Burn the ISO file in Windows 7 / 8 /10
- insert empty DVD in your DVD burner.
- double left click on the the downloaded ISO file to open Windows Disc Image burner.
- Choose your correct disc burner and click on burn to start burning the DVD.
Burn the ISO file in Windows XP, VISTA or 2000
- Please download first a free ISO burner. I recommend to use PowerISO which you can download here http://www.poweriso.com/download.htm .
- Install PowerISO.
- after installation is completed go to your desktop and run PowerISO
- click on continue unregistered.
- click on Burn -> select the downloaded ISO file -> choose the coreect burner drive -> select burnig speed: Maximum -> to start burning click on burn.
To boot from a DVD, make sure that the device has boot sequence priority over the hard drive in your BIOS Setting.
- Start the computer and press ESC, F1, F2, F8 or F10 during the initial startup screen. Depending on the BIOS manufacturer, a menu may appear.
- Choose to enter BIOS setup. The BIOS setup utility page appears.
- Use the arrow keys to select the BOOT tab. System devices appear in order of priority.
- To give a DVD drive boot sequence priority over the hard drive, move it to the first position in the list.
- Save and exit the BIOS setup utility.
- The computer will restart according to the changed settings and start with installation of your DVD
